Sports Injury Treatment - Spokane, WA

INJURIES WE TREAT

For golfers, runners and active individuals in Spokane

We work with golfers, runners, athletes, and active individuals to find the movement patterns behind the pain — and build a plan to keep you in your sport.

Golf-Related Injuries

Most of our golf patients come in through our Going Beyond Par recovery program. We assess swing mechanics alongside movement patterns, because the two are usually telling the same story.

Stiffness or sharp pain after a round, often tied to swing rotation and hip mobility.

Inside or outside elbow pain from grip, pressure, and swing mechanics.

Compression and rotation through the swing — a common cause of meniscus flare-ups.

Pain at the top of the backswing or through impact — usually tied to a swing pattern.

Pain at impact or follow-through — often a grip or wrist hinge issue.

Running-Related Injuries

Our Rock Your Run recovery program looks at gait, ground contact, and load tolerance — not just where it hurts. Most running injuries are a load and mechanics problem, not a fragility problem.

Tightness or deep groin pain that follows you on and off the road.

Aching at the front of the knee, often worse with stairs and hills.

Heel pain with first morning steps, often worse after sitting.

Sharp pain on the outside of the knee, especially on downhills and longer runs.

Inner-shin pain that builds with mileage — usually a load and mechanics issue.

Sports-Related Injuries

For lifters, racquet-sport players, jumpers, and anyone who trains hard at any age, we approach injury the same way — by figuring out the movement problem first, the symptoms second. Every plan starts with a Movement Assessment.

Stiffness and aching from training, desk work, or both — often a combined load problem.

Outside-elbow pain from racquet sports, lifting, or repetitive grip work.

Pain that travels from the low back into and down the thigh, the leg, and into the foot.

Front-shoulder pain that flares with bench press, overhead pressing, or push days.

Tension in the head and neck which can start from training or poor posture.

Pain that travels from the low back into into the gluteal region.

Our Approach to Every Injury

Most pain treatment starts with the symptom. We start with the movement — because that's where the answer usually is. Every plan follows the same five steps, regardless of sport.

01

MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT

We assess mobility, stability, and movement patterns across your whole body — not just where it hurts.

02

ACTIVITY-SPECIFIC BIOMECHANICAL TESTING

We connect your physical limitations to your sport — golf swing, running gait, lifting pattern, or jumping mechanics.

03

SPORTS CHIROPRACTIC CARE

Targeted adjustments and soft-tissue work restore motion to stiff joints and reduce pain in irritated areas.

04

SPORT-SPECIFIC REHABILITATION

Exercises that teach you how to use the areas of your body that have been locked up — and strengthen them so you don't end up back where you started.

05

RETURN TO PLAY PLANNING

We plan how you warm up, train between sessions, and manage load so you can stay in the game — not just recover from it.

Our injury recovery programs are typically covered by your medical insurance except for our biomechanics testing. We provide cost estimates before your appointment when you book online and include your insurance details.

Don't See Your Injury?

Most movement-related injuries respond to the same approach. If you're dealing with something that isn't on the list — a recent fall, a post-surgical recovery, an injury from a sport we haven't named — schedule a movement assessment and we'll figure out what's going on together.

Ready to stop guessing and start assessing?

If pain is affecting your sport or training, schedule a movement assessment and we'll identify what the problem is and what to do about it.
