THE MOVEMENT CLINIC METHOD
Assessment-guided care for golfers, runners and active individuals in Spokane

What Makes us Different?
Most chiropractors adjust you and send you home. It can feel good for a while, but if the underlying movement problem isn't addressed, the pain comes back--and you end up on a treadmill of weekly visits with no real plan for getting better.
The Movement Clinic was built around a different idea: that you can't fix what you haven't measured.
Every patient that sees one of our chiropractors starts with a full-body Movement Assessment. We figure out why you're hurting, not just where. From there, our team combines chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue work, therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle guidance into a clear plan with an end in sight.
This is the Movement Clinic Method. Every provider on our team practices it. Every patient gets it.
Built for the Way you Actually Move
Most healthcare isn't built for active people. We are.
Our team specializes in helping patients other clinics don't quite know what to do with -- the golfer fighting low back pain, the runner stuck with the same nagging hip issue, the hybrid athlete who lifts in the morning and runs at night and just wants their body to keep up.
We treat:
-
Golfers--from weekend players to competitive amateurs. We help you figure out how to keep playing the game you love.
-
Runners--from first-timers training for a 5K to ultra-distance athletes. We trace pain upstream of where you feel it.
-
Hybrid athletes--anyone whose training mixes lifting, running, golf and everything in between. We build plans that respect what you actually do.
Our Story
The Movement Clinic was founded in 2019 by Dr. Stephen Byers--the Method started taking shape years earlier, when his mother developed frozen shoulder during his time in chiropractic school.
He had tried everything he'd been taught. Nothing worked. That experience sent him searching for what was missing in standard chiropractic training, and he eventually found it in functional movement assessments, soft-tissue techniques, and therapeutic exercise. When his mother recovered, he knew he wanted to build a clinic around what he had learned.
After 5 years in a pain management medical clinic, where he saw firsthand how often patients lived with pain until it interrupted what they loved, he opened the Movement Clinic in Spokane with a simple mission: don't just treat pain--help the people move again.
Built to Scale, Designed to Last
We've grown since 2019, and we've grown deliberately. Every provider who joins the Movement Clinic is trained in the Method. Every team member--chiropractor and massage therapist alike--shares the same philosophy: assessment guided care, clear plans, real outcomes.
We are constantly expanding our knowledge base. Our team is being trained in golf-specific assessment and running-specific assessment, and we're building toward the same in-depth assessment for our hybrid athletes--because the people we serve don't fit into a box, and our care shouldn't either.
