Meet our Movement Specialists
Dr. Byers received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, TX after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. He is certified in the Titleist Performance Institute Medical assessment (level 3). This allows him to identify connections between the physical limitations of a golfer and the problems they are experiencing with their golf swing. He is a sports chiropractor and is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (advanced), Active Release Techniques (full-body), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Fundamental Capacity Screen (FCS), myofascial decompression (cupping) and instrument assisted soft-tissue mobilization. This allows him to understand the source and cause of his patient's pain and to treat both joint and soft-tissue injuries arising from their activities. He also has advanced training in therapeutic exercise and activity to help him retrain his patients on how to move in new and more efficient ways once limitations have been treated and are removed.
